“Candlesticks” and “Oysters Rockefeller” at Illumination 2013 (Finland)

Isabella Wing-Davey and Charles Rogers were 2 of 3 filmmakers from NYU Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Film Program sent to Helsinki to represent the program, screen their films and take part in The Helsinki Educational Film Festival 2013 (Illumination 2013).

 

The festival included film screenings and workshops with the three other film schools present: ELO (Helsinki Film School), RITS (Brussels film school) and The Norweigan Film School.

Part of the festival involved a workshop based on Dogville, creating scenes in black box environment, these were devised by students from all the film schools, working together. Wing-Davey and Rogers co-directed for their group, working with Finnish Actors.

CANDLESTICKS: Official Selection: Citizen Jane Film Festival 2012

Thrilled to be heading to Colombia, Missouri for the 5th Annual Citizen Jane Film Festival, where CANDLESTICKS will be playing as part of the “Love” shorts section: new and independent takes on the Hollywood portrayal of love.

Screening Saturday 8pm @ The Warehouse and Sunday 12 noon @ The Warehouse.
