Thrilled to announce that Isabella Wing-Davey has been shortlisted for the Kevin Spacey Foundation Artist of Choice Award in June 2015 for her project, The Rain Collector.

23 JUN ANNOUNCING SHORTLIST FOR KSF ARTISTS OF CHOICE

KSF Artists of Choice is our pioneering funding and mentoring initiative for UK and US based emerging artists working in theatre, musical theatre, music, dance or film. Epitomizing KSF’s aim of ‘sending the elevator back down’ it will provide funding, year-round support and mentoring by industry heavyweights.

We received around 1,200 applications from emerging artists working across all five disciplines. Those shortlisted shone out in terms of creative potential, practical wherewithal and a demonstrable need for funding.

“FLOOD”: Alfred P Sloan Producer’s Grant awarded to Isabella Wing-Davey by Film Independent

$25,000 Film Independent Sloan Producing Grant awarded to Producer Isabella Wing-Davey with project “Flood”.

Film Independent announced the award on Sunday night at the closing night reception for the Producer’s Forum at the Director’s Guild of America in Los Angeles, presented by Indiewire.

“Film Independent is honored to continue our relationship with the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and to award this year’s Sloan Producing Grant,” said Jennifer Kushner Director of Artist Development. “ Bella Wing-Davey is a promising young producer, and Flood deftly addresses the gulf between science and religion through an emotionally affecting father-daughter story. Since 2007, Film Independent has awarded Sloan grants to a number of worthy independent film projects that have been successfully produced, including Future WeatherValley of Saints, and Basmati Blues, which wrapped production this summer in India. Several other projects are in pre-production. We have high hopes for Flood look forward to nurturing and supporting this project through our Producing Lab and beyond.”

FLOOD awarded Panavision New Filmmaker Grant

We will be shooting FLOOD on 35mm film next week, thanks to the Panavision New Filmmaker Grant that we were awarded, providing a 35mm camera and accessories from Panavision Hollywood.

 

FLOOD awarded Fotokem Post-Production Award

“FLOOD” our next short film, written and directed by Katy Scoggin, has just been awarded the Fotokem Post-Production Award, covering processing and a workprint of the 35mm footage.
